Me and my brother have borrowed a couple of vauxhall vivaro's and they go like shot off a stick for a van, my brother reckons they're miles better than transits as well, no idea how much they go for though...

aye my mate has one, still quite expensive yet though, maybe in a few years if / when im a bit more established

My dad has always had Transits and never had any disastrous problems with them, just the routine maintenance and servicing etc.
However his 53 plate T330 90ps has been hit really bad with rust all over the place - even worse than the ones shaped around upto X-reg.
He has never kept his long enough with moon miles. But we have an 06 at work, similar spec to what you'd get at it has done about 120k miles. Still going strong and nothing majorly wrong with it.
Also the side door handles are prone to releasing themselves from the cable - easy fix and no parts required, just fiddly.
