Yes it is but FN2 owners still drive around thinking they are the bollocks because there is a "type R" badge on their car. Reminds me of when ford put a "Gti" badge on an escort tbh

aye...that is it.

the FN2 is a cack type-r, nowhere near as raw as the older ones, and more toned into being a comfy handbag than a proper balls-out performance hatch. The old EP3 is quicker round a track and the live rear axle is a backward step.

FD2 are cool though, as said...Honda should have released that here. Stunning cars.

They are gonna release a CR-Z but its gonna be a 1.6 hybrid (150ish bhp). woo...how exciting!

They've released the FN2 in Japan now as well, called the "Euro" or something I believe.

Before I owned one I was part of the bandwagon to slate them for lack of torque or whatever, but until you drive one you can't appreciate it for what it is.

I've had my EP3 for over 2 years now and kept it standard...that's saying something for me!

Can't wait until I get my DC5 in a months time

I've got an ATR...its old now in comparison, and i handed arse to an FN2 that tried to have a go (bends and otherwise). They are not anywhere as good as the EP3...although if i was getting a DC5 i'd be mega excited...as thats the ultimate IMO! bet you cant wait?

Love Integras - proper drivers cars.

One of my chums had an FN2 and I did wet all over it in a straight line dual, was majorly unimpressed with it.

I'm like a kid at christmas at the moment, I just want the bloody thing now!!

They will bring out some form of performance hybrid in place of the type r. Just like Toyota, who's going to be building the next mr2 as a performance hybrid. Toyota are focusing on hybrids for the next 10 years or so, so its likely that Honda will be doing similar.

lol, i reckon either of the teg's are good tbh, i agree the DC2 is a more hardcore car (more like the ATR) whereas the DC5 has got the i-vtec system like the EP3 civic, which doesnt feel right as there's not the distict 'step-up' that the earlier engines with the solenoids have got.

NSX's look good and have presence but for the price you pay for one, they aren't that quick tbh.

It is a shame to say the least... however surely that'll increase the cost of 2nd hand type r's if they aren't made any more!!!

After I get mine mapped and parts fitted / paint sorted I'll be looking to sell (maybe next year) really really want a supra twin turbo!
