Cant remember the exact name of my problem, but was a massive swelling in the thyroid gland in my neck. They did all the usual investigations but still didn't have a clue what was wrong so wanted to investigate in case it was cancer or whatever.

Surgery was supposed to be 90 minutes but ended up being 3 hours, worked out a little under £1000 per hour on the bill.

I know someone that had something similar done and said it was fairly straight forward, although he was in a bit of discomfort for a fair while afterwards. But all the best though
