As in door to door?
if so then i think you're doing the wrong thing by going to court as the overall cost will be rediculous in comparison, get a decent solicitor imo.

I don't think he will.
Take the pictures, take your defence. Prepare it properly, don't just go in going "gettorrrrffffmylaaaand"
Prepare a proper case and you will have good grounds. No-one is allowed to block you in.
Next qestion, I see 2 driveways there? One concrete, one stones with the White car parked on it? Is there 2 driveways there, or is that part of 1 drive?
If so, your blocking the other drive (probable culprit for grassing). If not, then there isn't anything wrong with what your doing.
Take photos, take shots of the other cars poor parking and defend it.
I've been to court 4 times so far and only lost (ish...) once, so going to court isn't always such a bad thing people make out.
All about the defence you make and what you prepare.

Daimo both drives belong to this chaps house, his is the end house and the stoned drive with the corsa on is his also.
Agreed that you probably shouldn't have taken this to court though.

So he's not actually blocking anyone in, and is parked at the end of the road.
I cannot see an obstruction there, so I would also take this to court and fight it.

I don't see the problem either, he was just parking like the 3 other cars (Astra, Volvo and swift) except he wasn't as close to the curb.

why did you park your atra like that in the first place?
You deserve a fine if you park like that Needs his eyes checking.
I dont see the problem with parking like that (in the pic).. he is in front of his drive not blocking anyone in and nobody can park where he is or they would be blocking his drive.. i agree it is messy parking though and parking next to the hyundai is double parking.
that would be blocking in the white focus. If my neighbours parked like that i would be chapping their door and telling them to get it shifted

The ticket doesn't relate to that day.

There's nothing wrong with the way the Astra H is parked either btw for everybody who says there is.
If he parked like the other cars there may be more space available but that's not got anything to do with right and wrong.

I have not read all the replies but, I think all the cars are parked illegally there, the whole point in areas like that is so that emergency vehicles can turn round

No train ticket - Defended myself, Beat South East Trains
Invalid insurance - Defended myself, proved innocent.
131mph - Worst one, got 6 points. Defended myself.
No insurance - Mistaken idenity.
Astra was never robbed? Or was you attempting to be funny?

Doesn't matter, you can use this as evidence (i'd take pictures on different days too) to show a proven trend that certain people are blocking you hence you taking the decision to park where you have.
No issues or warnings, just a ticket out the blue without explination.
Whilst he may be done for double parking (common thing down this way), thats not definate and showing the circumstances as to why he's parking where should go in his favour if presented properly.
Fixed

the pic shows our diveway being blocked concrete and gravel. So we started to double park next to hyundai to stop be blocked in.
I dont se how I can get a ticked for causing an obstuction when no one is obstructed
Offence codes seem to vary between forces and in cambridshire N121 is no lights

Because if you're too far from the kerb it blocks the flow of traffic. You might go to court and find a judge with common sense and some power to act, or you might lose massively.

But the only flow of traffic is to his driveway?
I definatly think he's got a good defense case.

Yes but its part of the highway is it not? You wouldnt park in the middle of the road just because there was other space. People pay road tax to use the roads and this prohibits them from doing so (from a logical point of view). I'm not saying its not petty but I am sure thats the rules.
