I stayed at the dorient last time, with track side room. Cost about 130 euro but was mint! the underground car park is supercar heaven!

cant remember what the place was called where i stayed but it was all new builds that you just rent for a few days or so. think they were biult for the ring. i stayed there for a week when i went

I've stayed at 'Hotel an der nordschliefe' and 'zum wilden scweinen'.
Both very nice hotels.

Fee and I keep talking about a Euro jaunt in the 911 Maybe in 2011....
Wouldnt mind a couple of laps on 'the ring' but real highlight for me would be Spa.
Shame to take the 911 as its not as useful on track but sack dragging one the track cars round Europe

the ring in person is a great spectacle to drive, i think it will meet your expectations as much as Spa

Issue with Astra is this just to clarify;
Rachel has had a fantastic job opportunity come up with ridiculous wages but its a little way out of Reading, not too far but a distance where using the Clio it would soon disintergrate and using the Astra would mean it would be worth 50p in a year.
So IF she gets the job we have far too much money tied up in the Astra and will need something decent and econmical to get her too and from work.
We've got the Clio now, I reckon I could go just as quick around a track in that as the Astra, and that was part of the reason it was bought with this in mind.
I'm not happy about Rachels potential income being vastly better than mine but if our plans come together I'll be working with my dad soon and that will equal things out 
Life story over.

Up & onwards Oliver, its only a car. A nice one at that but should never let a car get in the way of progression & you can always get another if you liked it enough.
Also child seats will be a pain to get in/out the VXR once you 2 are married
