Just a cone air filter, it gave 10bhp more when I had it rolling roaded which is about right

IMHO there is no point buying a car with power if you have to tease it out and theres even less point buying a big HP car if its FWD.. Only current manufacturer who seems to be able to pull it off is Renault.. the R26 is an amazing car to drive.
Obviously that is your opinion but my car pulls away from R26-R's, and around roundabouts there was nothing in it

To be honest Graham, your very happy with the car, IMO you don't have to justify to anyone else why you like it, just like I don't have to justify to anyone why I drive a diesel, I have my reasons.
Dave's just an argumentitive bugger

I know it's just annoying when most people form opinions on cars they've driven once and not 'properly' Not saying you have Dave, I just get it alot. And it usually results me taking them out and changing their opinion

thought about doing the grille badge red or do you like the contrast of the chrome against the red?

I spoke to my painter but he said it'd never look right and the paint would keep peeling due to the chrome. I know people who have rattle canned them so might try and source a 2nd set of badges and give it a go. I think black badges would look good

Lets be honest the R26-R would make the MPS look stupid.. Best handing FWD car EVER built, its taken the crown from the Elan.

I have to say I drove a couple of Grahams shape when I worked at Mazda and the torque steer was more of a slight tug than a pull etc! FFS I ended up racing a 600 bike on the motorway in 6th gear and it felt evenly matched. Great cars IMO

I never said my car would be faster around the track, I said I pull away from him. In a straight line the driver barely has anything to do with it and my mate isn't afraid of giving it the beans so he was flat out. Whether you wanna believe it or not then that's up to you but I was there so I'm pretty sure it happened
Thanks to the rest of you

That's 1/4 mile. The MPS weighs 1480kgs, that's alot of weight to launch off the line. I did a rolling start with the R26-R.

That's a Mazda 6, 4WD so weigh more and lose more power through the transmission

They are nice cars, interior is above others in it's class (VXR, S3, R26) IMO and they drive really nice. Smooth power delivery, and plenty of power when you need it

I'm not entirely sure? I'm led to believe it's a KO4 but I'm not so sure

That's what I thought. Just wondered if anyone had tried a hybrid ko4 on one and mapped it.
