The bulbs can be purchased very easily if they do break but you do not need a full kit. The kits have been reduced by £5 for the month of august as well

Any questions please ask away.

Hope to hear from you soon.

got them today after ordering them thursday night. very good service from the guy on ebay.

when i first opened the box i though, fuck, loads of wires. but they were simply plug and play.

couldn't believe how easy they were to fit.

the light output is exactly the same as my focus was which is what i was looking for, perfect i think 8000k would've been a little too blue for my liking, these look factory although the pics show the blue up more.

Before:

after:

beam pattern is excellent and the slim ballasts made for easy fitting. i just cable-tied them to my slam panel.

these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330379335700&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_4898wt_911

mine are 6000k. they didn't come in a fancy gift box like other more expensive ones but were well packed and means i don't have any cases taking up space.

fooking right, I've got 6000k for dipped and 4300k for full beam (max light output for 4300k) and they are one of the best mods to do.
Did you lower the beam though, I tested the standard beam on a wall and when the HIDs were fitted the top of the beam went about a good 20cms higher from about 10ft from wall.

the n/s headlight position is stuck so matched the o/s one with it.

think i need a new headlight as it makes a funny noise when i turn the lights on, as if somethings sticking inside it when it wants to move.

Probably the height adjuster motor, my civic is the same, i just disconnected the plug off the back as on prefacelift you cant get a motor on its own, whole lamp unit

might be able to replace the motor on yours though, usually its water ingress that causes them to go faulty

yeah i think you can replace the motor on it's own but it requires a bit of patience (of which i don't have)

it's covered with a film of what looks like overspray and won't come off with t-cut so may just get a new unit as they aren't too expensive on ebay for puma's.

all i did was plug them into my existing headlight plug thing, then connect the leads up together.

seemed easy enough.

Connect to the battery, plug the ballasts in, plug the bulbs in, it's really really idiot proof. Hardest bit is routing the wiring and finding somewhere to mount the ballasts.

Oh well, my car has all of that exept for self-leveling lights, but I have a switch in the car anyway and self-leveling lights are shit anyway, they never know what to do.
