tin foil is a metal.
Also, if you are implying a corsa is somehow better structurally then i must disagree. Having had both, the peugeot has a far stronger and corrosion resistant chassis. It is also lighter. Fyi, my 206 was made in england.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I've not been in any 206's let alone the Gti so can't compare them but I prefer the looks of the Corsa and don't regret buying it at all. If you were to offer me a straight swap for a 206 with the same mileage etc I would keep the Corsa.
I WANT A SMALLER ENGINE NOT A 1.8
Fair enough. Well then a 1.4 Corsa compared to a 2.0 206 isn't really a comparison Even 20valver knows that if you smoothed the airbox on the Corsa, the 206 will still be quicker.

Why is there ALWAYS a comment about a French car being French? Surely it's obvious? Is it meant to be an insult? I hate the French as much as the next chap, but come on! Does the term "Yeah but it's French" actually mean anything? Is it a new way of saying unreliable, boring, prone to rust or something else?

Most people who say it are usually jumping on the band wagon to look e-cool and have never experienced a French car long term, maybe their mate Jono had a 170bhp Saxo VTS that kept chewing driveshafts or some bullshit like that

Going through numerous drive shafts and a couple of gearboxes in 3 months is not the car. It's the person behind it who clearly can't contain his right foot.

No no, smoothing the airbox adds 1,000,000,000,000,000bhp remember Dave

The irony is that right hand drive 206s were built in coventry yet the corsa is built in spain.
And we all know how reliable spanish cars are don't we!
