ive done 53k this year in my 123d 3dr hatch, not only is it cheap on tax etc gives huge mpg figures and the torque at motorway speeds is great. It also doesnt scream steel me to chavs etc like some of the other models listed

boss's wife had a nice BMW 1 series diesel and found it not very good on the country roads around here, tried different wheels/tyres too (i think they specified smaller wheels when buying)

they only kept it a few months then bought a volvo instead and its miles better i'm told, much nicer drive

1 series is due to be replaced

123D is awesome though

Love mine

S3 is a cracking car - my mate has one but its expensive to run
