Did they do the Anni in TDI form? I thought it was just the 1.8T but I could well be wrong.

Clio will become my track/road car, this all depends on Rach getting her new job.

They are I had one a couple of years ago on a extended test drive and it was proper shit.

We curently have an 2008 Ibiza1.9 TDi in our household pool and like the Fabia just utterly boring to drive.

I'd hedge my bets with a Fiesta Zetec S TDCi or a C2 VTS 1.6 HDi (shares the same engine as Cooper D)

you liked my favia vrs didnt you?

they are usually ok to be honest, first time my turbo went was just bad luck, sucked something in the air intake that collided with the turbo propellors, second time i think the garage didnt fit something right the first time they replaced the turbo.

remember when we drove mine to mill brook proving ground to test that new golf

Standard I take it?

Remap makes the world of difference, that coupled with the 312mm brakes and rarb make it a comletely different car.

Why do you need an economical car for a 50 mile round trip?

207 GT Hdi I quite like - And it's within budget for a 2006-2007 one. Can't imagine everyone liking the looks though - And I've never driven one

50 miles everyday it just makes sense tbh.

I don't like the Fabia tbh, C2 VTS HDi is a good shout.

Zetec S TDCi doesn't really have performance credentials apart from looking sporty... 90bhp doesnt shout performance to me, and a remap to about 120bhp max still doesnt compare to a 130PD that can be remapped easily over 160bhp

I'll be honest Ollie, I thought the same, thought it was going to save me loads of money on a long commute (I was doing 80 miles a day) but it made little to no odds, the car was more money, cost more when it went wrong, got boring very quickly and the mpg wasn't that good.

If you want economy, don't buy a BMW diesel, unless it's a brand spanker.

Do some proper sums, I don't reckon you'll save that much money.
