That is what I was thinking, 235bhp in cloverleaf form, but looks like it's a 2.0 according to Oliver

Fiat Group (Fiat,Ferrari,Maserati,Iveco,Alfa Romeo,Abarth & Lancia) bought up a chunk of GM/Chrysler

Before I left there were memo's going round about chassis and engine sharing

The 1800cc rumour was flying around for ages until Stu Harris said about a year ago that it will be the new Gen II engine from the Insigina SRi

I agree, i personaly dont mind 300BHP through the front wheels. i find it quite fun tbh, but i do think AWD would be better, not just fo performance but for selling factors too. isnt the insignia AWD?

It is indeed, FWD is the safe option TBH understeer is a lot more controllable than when a 4x4 decides to let go.

4x4 is also very expensive and heavy so the gains you make in traction are lost in weight.

I doubt you will ever see anyone like Ford/Renault/Vauxhall ever make a powerful hatchback with a 4x4 system ever again.

I know Audi/VW use haldex but look at the price of the cars and they don't handle any better than the Meganes/Focus/Astra of this world do they?

Very valid points there. Am i right in thinking the C30 shares the Focus chassis? therefor could/should share the AWD system?

Sorry just seen this that Stu Harris said earlier

We don't a DSG at the moment , but one is on the way but its of a different system to the current ones.

We won;t be carrying over the different colour seats , though those are the actual seats for the VXR.

The front is not the VXR version. The rear is nearly there

The 21" wheels are not available at launch. 19" and 20" only

The concept car is quite imposing and sleek when you see it in the flesh, we hope to have it soon for you to come and see.

Its not , for sake of clarity and I'm sure someone will ask , 4wd or 1.8turbo. Its fwd with LSD and 2,0turbo (on an engine that we've not had in the UK before).

Engine spec sounds good with the twinscroll turbos. Would be good if the litchfield Subaru twinscroll turbos would fit. I like the looks as well although the wheels look to big in the pics.

Isn't that the GTC not the VXR?

Maybe it was 20's then not 21's. I remember thinking WTF!! But he said they suit the style of the car which seems to be true.
