So true...I think they are horrendous, but would always feel the need to tell the person that
See, it strikes up a conversation! Good starting point; then you let them wear them and bam....

I wear trainers 90% of the time, if you HAVE to wear shoes to get in it's generally not for me. All the generic "clubs" like shite like oceanas and that are toss anyway. Or theother way if it is that pretentious they are bothered about trainers again i'm not fussed about being there.

I dont think of it as alternative clothing. I wear what i wear. Some of it the same as others, some of it not. When talk about "Alt" clubs i mean alternative to the normal "RnB, rap, dance" clubs.
I think its totally out of order that you got rejected from an alternative club the places id go to would never turn someone away (we regularly get chavvy types in our club, they soon leave).

I'd have kicked up murder had I been there. I'm very much into that music but you wouldn't know it to look at me. I wrote a big raging email to complain but got no reply so I am going to write a formal complaint tomorrow. Id have understood if they'd rocked up in timberlands with their jeans tucked in and had baseball caps on and generally looked like a set of gadges, looking to cause trouble. But they had on shirts, jeans and shoes ffs

Hey, you lot should have all done that. Might have gotten in seeing sweaty and unwashed is apparently the dress code! Eck simply had a genius idea 3 hours too late!
