Its not about the numbers though, more about the delivery and how it puts the power down on the road.

Gotta remember, the N/A wont suffer from turbo lag.

It may be faster on paper, but on the road its a different story.

A 1.9D doesn't have any power to put down on the road, there's no chance in a million years it's faster.

Im talking from past experience of being lucky enough to get a shot of a Mk3 1.9d.

Very sought after cars.

Was neck and neck with a mapped Fabia Vrs,so im just assuming it will be quicker than the heavier Mk4.

there was a rumour years ago they were going to put the same engine in the corrado but they feared it would kill the sales of the vr6

Diesels might be fast, that doesn't make them performance cars for people who like "drivers" cars. It's like arguing fad is better than rwd, it's fundamentally flawed. It doesn't mean there aren't decent cars that are diesel but it's never going to be a true drivers car due to the characteristics of the engine.

Torque figures should mirror bhp figures. It's about balance and poise not tractor engines.

Again, you are refering to my car as if ive posted it asking for opinions??Or if ive compared it to the cars that i have gave my opinion on??Why is that??

If you cant handle some1s opinion, you need to stay off the internet.

If you want to "do a bit" or whatever, you can come to me.Buckhaven is a small place and im not the most difficult person to find.
