David at API has a superb reputation for a reason. I have used him several times and defo someone that goes the extra mile.

I'll second the vanos thing, also it can be replaced for £1500 on an s50 so assuming cost is similar, if you are worried about a £1500 bill then you shouldn't get an M5

The WR1 is not worth the extra premium unless you really have a hard on for the baby blue colour, its just a prodrive parts bin special IMO. For the price you would pay for a WR1 you could get some tasty JDM models, spec C etc.
