Well the journey home was a pain in the cunt.
Its developed a misfire thats rediculous now, was a slight miss around 4k on the dyno, was noticable, but I was assured it would just be the plugs.
Now on the way up the road, put the foot down and it misfired crazy style, and put the EML on.
Its fine if I give it gradual throttle, then it will go all the way to the limit in 5th
However, any heavy foot causes a miss, and once I got home, op-com shows:
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
(01) - Intermittent
P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
(01) - Intermittent
Will gap the plugs first thing tomorrow, if that doesnt sort it then ill get on the phone to hypertech. Ill scan the graph now, im no expert but it doesnt look right?

Quick search on AOC is suggesting either plugs on coilpack, hopefully it is that and not the map! I have the tools to save the new map and flash back on the standard map if needs be.
Edit, found a few people on AOC that had to gap their plugs after a remap, if not then it misfired under load, like mine is doing, shall get it done tomorrow anyway!

Why did you choose hypertech in the first place?

Was going to do to wallace performance, but they wanted to put a dastek unichip on it, and ive seen one they fitted before, no thanks.
Was between sitech and hypertech as Ive heard good reviews about both, sitech wanted to put standalone management on it though, so went for hypertech. Duncan there really seemed to know what he was talking about, so long as the plugs cure the misfire then Ill be very happy

with the amount of money you pay for what is basically a slightly tweeked generic map i'd have damn expected my plugs to be gapped. it's not like it's a huge job.

My coupe turbo had exact same fault codes when i got it mapped, just stuck some new re-gapped plugs in and it was 100%

should not judge hypertech but sounds like they are not suited to vauxhall tuning!
i went to coutney to have my van tuned cos they specalise in vauxhall and they would not even entertain putting it on rollers till it was running totally perfect before the map, i got there at half 8 in morning and they found clutch sensor was not working so got one from vauxhall that day,
also got everything working properly and knew all the parts that needed to be on there before mapping.
i drove nearly 5 hours each way but least i knew it was done properly and never have a prob since, its run 281bhp for 18months no issue!
now i have changed to eds chip so i can have it mapped by midway point garage cos its more local, again highly reccomend them cos they again specalise in vauxhall!
the van now runs 310hp and is used for track days so does not have easy life!
get to a specalised vauxhall tuner or someone who has good knowlage on z20let tuning, otherwise yours just wasting your time and money on people like hypertech!
only need a map doing once so its worth doing right .....thats wot i thought!

Mustve been a shit drive home with a misfire, I wouldn't of been keen driving that with a misfiring car after paying what £300 - £400 for a remap?
