I don't see the point in the whole 'protecting against stone chips' argument - What protects the Bumper? Which is going to take as much as, if not more, of a hammering than the Bonnet...

because my golf had a notch in the bonnet which i didnt want to get filled so i got a bra to hide it?

You can get full front bra's
But the thing is, plastic doesnt rust when chipped, bonnets do

I dont like them. There is a standard 5 door corsa drives round near me with one bit odd.
But then again the chap down the road has a lupo gti and he has one, but only for long distance journeys. That seems more of an appropriate way to make use of one IMO.
