If you have the OZ's kicking about why not change your brakes?

Surely there are some more 4pots with extra clearance?

I'd rather not fit smaller brakes just to fit wheels on.

Take it has to be 15s to fit the track tyres?

Email rimstock and ask them if the 15in Pro Race 2 have more clearance than the 1.2s. I had them in 16s with bags of room on an et45.

I tried 1.2s were just sat on the calipers, so would only need to be a couple of mm more.

cheaper all round for tyres. 16's with track stuff are worse fitting due to sidewall of yoko ao48's. not sure they even make the mikey t street tyres in 16's either.

et15 though. cant find any close to et49. i dont want to mess up the way the car drives with silly offsets or spacers etc. good fitting wheel with correct offset or as near to as possible that also fit over 300mil brakes. i know im asking a lot, as i imagine not a lot of people fit 15" wheels unless theyre on smaller brakes perhaps?

What about fitting a set of 288s with those internet over-hyped smaller piston turbo calipers and a rear disc conversion with bias control valve.
Will give you more choice for wheels.

fitting a lower offset and widening the overall track width will improve your handling and argueably your traction off the line too.

If you move to ET35 your gaining 10mm which will make clearence easy

fitting a lower et will make it torquesteer more too, my porshce wheels were around a 35 offset and it was terible compared wth 49. and that was with about half the power nic has.

yup the difference having proper offset and no spacers is quite a lot on mine.

why put spacers on...just get rimstock to make you up some 1.2's or 3's in the offset that would normally be spaced.

the pro race 3's will be the same sorta clearance as the mo's due to their design...

look smart too. anyway, yea rimstock can make wheels to your offset requirements like compomotive, so just put 5mm on the offset...no spacers needed...laughing.
