Well --- blacks would probably think that you had a shit awards ceremony as all the good music is of black origin.
Seriously - what are you going to have at your music of white origin awards? Classical music, opera, folk, country? People keep saying this statement without even thinking about what exactly you are going to have at your MOWOS ... what is music of white origin? Most music is of black origin - blues, jazz, soul, funk, disco, rock and roll, tyechno, house, r and b, hip hop, dance, drum and bass, reggae, ska.
Why does it matter if there is a black TV channel, or a black music awards .... the reason they are there is because blacks are still massively under represented on television and in the business side of the music industry .... whites dont need there own sections in industries because whites run all of them as it is.
Its just a dumb, pointless argument to have imo.....does it hurt you? If not then why worry about it
By the way - whites do have their own tv station in America ... Its called 'Fox News' and its far more dangerous than any black tv show is
