230bhp, stock, but totally tuneable.

Search for Van Arken - they are Volvo specalists, who have done some totally mental T5R's and R's.
Alot of tuners in Sweden as well, seriously mental 700/800bhp mosters.

They may or may not be fast but they are absolute shitboxes.

I don't fancy driving about looking like a Geography teacher that touches small boys, thanks.

Ex fed stuff is cheap and loads of history.

Great start for a touring car replica.

You get FWD, RWD and AWD. Most of the ex police motors are RWD.

The R is 250bhp mate. The T5's of old were 220 or 230bhp iirc.

Thats strange. Was it an option? As in same car spec but you choose rwd? Or is it due to what engine you have?

All the T5's and R's were 2.3 Turbo's mate. Not sure why the police ones are RWD. Would love RWD, sadly I have FWD and the traction control has a fucking hard time of it in the wet.

My Dad used to have an 850 GLT 2.5 20v Estate when they were reasonably new. Even that sounded nice. I liked that car.

They sound ace, and go well for a ridiculously cheap car. Comfortable too.
