id make sure liability gets settled before you start selling bits. if he decides to dispute and you have no witnesses it could well end up a 50/50 settlement

I'd have thought it'd have depended on what his statement to the police would have been.

ah thats ok then. just thought it was worth a mention. i work in liability and recovery, seen many claims go that way where liability is accepted at the scene then suddenly the claim gets reported and they claim you swerved into them.

Depends entirely on the cost of repair and the engineers who inspect it. Probably Cat D though

Write off, but you may be lucky. Looks like a lot is cosmetic although those scratches which are also dented will be the killer.

It looks worse in person the pictures make it look a hell of a lot nicer tbh. The traffic cop made a sly remark about not being able to t-cut them out the bellend

The exact same thing thing is happening to a guy at work. Someone pulled out of traffic without looking and knocked the guy off his bike, into an oncoming car. Admitted liability at the scene and to the police, now he's said to his insurance that the guy on the bike was "overtaking on the wrong side of the road" or some nonsense, which has messed the whole thing up and means it's going to drag on now. Some people

Dave, Preety much the same here, Girl i know got hit head on by somebody, they admitted fault at the scene and then changed there story to the insurers. Ended up going 50/50 as there was no proof.

Hate it when people are like that.
I think there are witnesses in this case, there must be because of the guy coming the other way that the bike was thrown into. Pretty sure he damaged their car.
Basically what it was is the bike was filtering up to some traffic lights (not even going quickly) then the guy in the car decided he wanted to pull into one of those bits in the middle where you can wait to turn off, except he didn't check his mirrors or indicate so took the bike out and wrote it off.

I am in the same situation, twa*t pulled out from a junction straight into the side of me, admitted it at the scene. The minute his insurance got involved i am doing 50mph at 6pm through the middle of town ffs.
Got to go court shortly.
