thats because in the EPL, the money is distributed evenly. In Spain, teams negotiate their own TV deals, so Real and Barca get stupid amounts.
Around march/april no player in the 2nd division in Spain had been paid. There is no money left for them, as the big 2 have it all. Also, no EPL team needs a €125m loan to pay wages
