Fucking hate it.
I actually have to drive up 2 hills before reaching any main road thats in pristine condition. 1 hill being steep and the other being long. Doesnt help when some idiot who lives at the very top decides to come down the long hill and breaks down at the bottom. Now no one can get a good run at it because hes just decided to leave it there.

Latest update from work, looks like there's more to come. !!! All schools, Community Centres and Libraries closed tomorrow Just my luck that I work in one of the essential buildings

Dear colleagues
Due to the unexpectedly severe weather conditions, it is our intention to close all non-essential council buildings from 4pm today.

The following essential buildings will remain open:

· the Civic Centre in Livingston

· Strathbrock Partnership Centre in Broxburn

· Lomond House in Livingston

· Guildiehaugh Depot in Bathgate

The weather has caused severe disruption to public transport, and the conditions are having a major impact on the road network, particularly the M8. Staff are strongly advised to check their route in advance of their departure, as they may need to look at alternative arrangements.

This may include early departures, car sharing or arranging to stay with colleagues.

If none of these options are available, they should contact the contact centre on 01506 773446 and pass on their name, current location, home/destination and a contact number, so arrangements can be put in place.

All schools, community centres and libraries will be closed tomorrow, but it is our intention to re-open all other buildings.
