I do like the wheels even though they're not VX fitment. A GTE should be left subtle other than performance modifications. A great classic car for me.
i wouldn't say a vxr looks dated but they do look like 90% of other new cars on the market these days.

idd, they do. It's quite boring, but it's due to safety regulations these days, height of cars, height of impact bar, dimensions, it's just boring though. I've heard it could be because they buy one another's designs, modify them slightly and put it on the market.
At work, I noticed one of the kias look very similar to the corsa.

Was in a Ford galxy the other day and half the interior (centre console, clocks, hangles, window switched etc) were all VAG items.
Noone seems to be too bothered about making a really good car anymore, just make something that will make huge profits. Apart from the germans. They never seems to stop making good cars

The VXR is in its prime time for me. But tbf ive never really like brand new cars untill they have been out for a while. Each to their own i suppose.
Also i would never own a car just because it looked 'up-to-date' or to be 'in' with people. All my mates have fairly newish cars etc. But i would honestly rather have my current car. It has more power and more features. and this is from a car that was put into production in 1990.

But if I'd done what everyone else said I wouldn't have built what I did. It's called individualism. Or did I just make that up? If people did didn't do these 'scene' things people wouldn't have owt to mock or moan about!
Luke, I really want to buy the GTE, 8v or not! I need to save first though!
