That's exactly the plan mate - it's been coming for a couple of months in all honesty, I was just hoping it would be after Christmas.

The most difficult thing though, is that we are still living together for about a month - she quite simply doesn't have the money to move out and pay her deposit etc on a new place, so it's a very strange situation.

As I say, it's mutual, so there's no agression, no bad feelings (within reason anyway), and we still get on very well - we just don't have the spark there anymore to carry on as a couple.

I'm guessing she'll move out to somewhere around the middle of Jan - as she has only moved to Bristol 6 months ago, she has no family here, and very few friends, so doesn't even have anybody to go and stay with in the meantime. On the otherhand, I do have more firneds here I could stay with, but I'm not going to move out for a bit when it's going to be me that keeps the place in the end!

I guess this should be in PL really - it's my £12.50 thread
