Of course, I just don't see how being crap at UFC somehow invalidates his prowess as a street fighter.

It doesn't, I said he's a good street fighter, he would make a good boxer but he's not cut out to be in the UFC or any other organisation, people made the misconception that someone who can throw a punch will automatically be good at proper fighting, he didn't have that much training behind him when he did his first fight. He didn't do well on TUF either.

Mixed martial arts I was refering to, just because he could throw a punch everyone thought he was going to be good in the UFC when really it was the opposite, I'd pay to watch him in a boxing ring though.

Not necessarily, He's decent on his feet and can throw a good punch, he would be a far better boxer than he was a mma fighter.
