From your comment I take it you smoked and then stopped without any aids ?

I found however, that I needed something to break 8 years of routines with, even if that means having a fake fag as I drive to work or whilst I was sat at my desk.
Its different for everyone, I'm not weak willed, however found it helped.

FPMSL Yes I did Smoke and stopped myself without any aids..... Own3d and B0n3d Sunshine 
Woke up after a night out one day, throat felt ranks, clothes stank and I thought that's it and just gave up. Never had a Smoke since.
I hate this expression but in this instance... "simples"

Sounds similar to me on saturday, but I got showered and went to the pub with 20 more in my pocket  Come monday my throat still feels fucked, so I am now attempting to stop.
