Astra Sri turbo when I was 19, £980 iirc. Got a 1.5 diesel Clio now though , 20, 3 years NCB, £585.

corsa gsi c16xe at 18 - 900 FC

Cavalier sri c20xe 19 - 720 tpft

x16xe sport at twenty - 700 tpft


had vtrs/gtis/gti-6/golf gti etc never paid over a grand five hundred on my own policys

when i was 18 i had a 1 litre corsa c and it cost me 1800 quid to insure

22 when I took the policy out, 2.0DTi Astra mk4, £430FC, but then I have 5 years NCB.

Having the missus on there (22 also) puts it up by around £50 too

Think i was about 1100 at 19-20 on a Calibra Turbo with 0 NCB.

I was 20 by about a month when i got my megane F1 (had to amend the policy as had my 3 series). Was £1700 in total for a 10 month policy and no voulantary excess and i have just paid £1500 for 10 month again but with a 700 total excess (dam prices gone up loads). I will be 21 in 2 months.

At 21, a civic type r £1450 a year fully comp and a 1979 vw camper at £850 fully comp. Thats with 3 years NCB and 3 points

17-19 - Corsa 1.4 Sport - first year was £1300 2nd year was £650

Dont drive the Passat.. Too expensive but i swapped it for the corsa

Will be 22 next week with 3NCB, renewal has come through at £531 on my Corsa 1.8 SRi with suspension and exhaust mods. Yet to find anywhere cheaper

same but mine is a £910 for a 1.4 sport at 21 with 2 years ncb and 3 points

think I was with admiral. But I live in lowest risk place and was on drive way. Had my mum as a named driver which helped alot to bring it down.

OX postcode is lowest risk too, parked on drive and with mum and dad as named drivers but mine is still £100 more with the same company

I'm jealous of some peoples quotes!

20/21 - Fiesta Zetec S - £700 0 NCB & 1 fault accident

21 - Mazda 3 MPS - £1500 0NCB & 1 fault accident.
Still got the car but now 22 with 1 NCB paying £1400. And it was a battle to get that £100 off as no other company was even close to that quote so had very little to bargain against :-/

Oh & for speed you can't beat a bike

17 - VFR400 - £600

19 - Kawasaki 636 B1H - £300
