You think you're hard done by, a corsa 1 litre would cost me about 4k to insure. I have dreams about cheap insurance, you're living the dream.

its not jus you-I paid just over £400 for my A3 last year with a declared remap,9 years no claims,no points and 1 none fault claim where someone slid out of a junction,over a road,over a pavement and into the back of my car on the driveway!!when I changed to the Jag a month in,they charged me £75 more including the £25 admin fee.
I've just renewed and HIC who I was insured with for the last 8 years couldn't do any better than £1100!!that's more than doubled in 12months!!I finally got it for £785 which I'm still not happy about but couldn't do any better
