shame its a cabrio, whatever you do make sure you dont spray it with car paint, iv said this earlier but im not sure you took it in

why not?

i did my skyline with car paint, but looks a bit like the flecks in paint are too large.

i will order some paints etc online, i love spending money on things like that, got loads of the little tins of enamel already, about 30 colours

paint is too thick and the flakes too large all the details on the plastic mouldings become filled in, and ends up looking bad, makes it look fake on close ups

Got all my supplies ready to start




couldn't find the body colour it recommends, so thought long and hard and went with the baltic blue metallic spray can as seen in photos.

think i've bought the wrong laquer for it though, says for enamel paints and i have acrylic

now i have tape i can tape the bit together


glued the two halves of seats together and filled and sanded the joins, then have painted them




am doing my own colours now sod the proper ones, black interior with blue paint will match my diecast revell corrado

Fancy telling me what tape, glue and paint ect... I need and were to get it from?? I ordered a skyline off ebay today and havent got any stuff like that for it

depends how far you go, you can end up needing loads of pots of colours, different brushes, thinners, sand paper i have 4 shades of white and 4 shades of blacks, the same amount of silvers its once you start painting the details you realise if everything is the same black or the same silver it doesn't look quite right

i bought most of them a while ago though as they quickly add up at over £1 each
