Yes, like I say if you do it right, I have 4 good mates who are labourers by trade, all now run their own businesses. One is a plasterer by trade and now worth in excess of £5million, granted he's branched out, buys cheap houses, does them up himself and either rents out or sells on, currently owns 60+ houses in the area. Same goes for aa plumber and electrician I know, granted they're not worth as much, but still live very comfortably in nice big houses, have a couple of holidays per year etc

Unskilled labours are worth fuck all.

Skilled labourers on the other hand, particular with their own companies are doing alright. Depends on the type of contracts you're involved with. Major house builders have all but shut up shop in a lot of places. Domestic repairs are going great though.

If a labourer is earning £250 a week he is doing well. Labourers are paid a pittance and treated like utter shite.

There's a 60 year old in my old mans work called Jimmy The Corer. He cores holes for boiler flue's from 8 in the morning until 4 at night and gets paid pennies for it.

Depends who you labour for tbh and if you're any good. A good brickies labourer can made good money, but yes many a morons who are paid very little. I think they steal hi vis and wellies from my work to sell in the pub for extra money

I was making a point about the action rather than the time period. They're treated like shit but I doubt they'd have the guy coring holes in walls 'til midnight for no reason.
