Got pulled over in my Impreza and the copper had guesstimated I was doing 75mph in a 30mph zone. Said I'd done myself a favour pulling over straight away and not blasting off, plus he couldn't get behind me to take a reading or somethin. Not clever, but this was all in such a small distance it's unreal. Didn't take the Impreza long to get up to that speed lol It was only to overtake a taxi that was being a tit

Ducati superbike so it didnt take that long to get to that sort of speed.
Guy round Edinburgh got clocked in a similar situation on a Gsxr 1000 doing 153mph average over 1 mile and he went to jail so i count myself very lucky tbh.

Yeah they work alright, one of the lorry drivers at dad's work got done by one, thought he was alright going through them at the limit on the lorry (which he thought was 56MPH) and got done for an AVERAGE of 62
He just took the points and kept quiet about the 'fast' lorry

The amount of people that cruise through them at 60+ is mental. Hearing a rumour that they don't work isn't enough for me to fly through them at speed

I was under the impression that anything over 100 was a years ban but was speaking to my mate tonight and he got caught doing 127 in a 50 and got a 3 month ban and 1000 fine ... I thought he got off rather lightly
