If you find something just take your time and keep looking at it over a few months to see if you still like it. If you start to dislike parts of it try re-drawing those parts or take it to a tattooist and get them to re-draw it for you how you want it.

I have writing round both thighes, one of which is in Gaelic and both have meaning behind them. On my right thigh I have a large rose with tribal behind, and on my back I have a horse with some tribal. Need a new one but can't decide what I want yet

That would be me. See on the face of it its a daft tattoo with no real meaning. Yet to me i wanted a tattoo that meant something to the people in my life that i love - family and friends. I didn't want the love hearts with "mom" written in it and so i felt this was the best option as they'll always know i love them even if i don't say it. I get a lot of shit for it but all that matters is i know the meaning behind it. In all fairness women seem to like it and it makes for a good conversation when out and yes i a well aware that the reason is a fairly camp one

To be honest no. I had a bit of a shit relationship with my mum and dad and never told them i loved them, blah blah etc. Like i said some people just dont get it but i know the reason why and i think its appropriate for me and my body. Some people hate tribal because it has no meaning yet very little is said about it yet when i get something that has meaning to me people find it hard to understand.
