I had a 206 about 2 years ago. The build quality is a bit crap with alot of plastic etc. If you get a decent spec model then they aint too bad really. The look nice and handle ok. As for problems, i had a couple such as it needed new wishbones every 6 months as it chewed them for some reason.Other than that it was fine till the diff bearings started to whine, so i traded it!

I'd prefer a Gti6 over a 206 gti. And for your question, with it being a cat d, I would definately stay away. You may find something better next week or the week after.
