I'd give the milltek a miss if it was me. They are shockingly bad quality. Everyone I have had has cracked at some point. The vxr had cracks all over the place and I've just had to have the golfs system re-welded on the backbox and around the welds.
I have a mongoose fitted to my CTR and Evo and never had a single problem with it.

Well got my milltek fitted yesterday & so far so good, impressed with it so far, sound's really nice not to loud or droney, pop's and burbles no end. Done a around 100 mile's on it already & is already starting to sound worn in from when first set off from the garage. Feel's like it's moved the power further up the rev range was hoping it wouldn't but does pull better when get up the rev's thinking a manifold & sport's cat in the future. Getting the Eibach pro kit fitted saturday to so should be a hoot to drive once had 4 wheel allignment ect

Loads of the old Cupra R ones cracked too.
They've recently done a new version and there are already reports of rust on the joints.

I heard good things about Blueflame.
Or just get Milltek but expect it to rust on the joints (you get lifetime replacement if it fails, or something)

Yeah I will do, shall start a build thread soon as got quite a few plans for it so can keep updating it. Will get some pics of the system when it's back up on the ramps. Look's a really good fit all the way through how ever it has moved over slightly since being fitted so want to see if I can get it central in the recess again when goes to Northampton motorsport in a few weeks. Just one of the niggly things’s that I’ll notice
Yeah they have a lifetime guarantee so if it doe's rust or snap or what have you I’ll get it replaced under warranty

It's a 15% smaller pulley, new shorter belt, new plugs £350 quid
Good for 30bhp on decent healthy engines so take it up to 200bhp, will need a cooler as well as charger will get hotter obviously.

Oh sweet is this what your booking in it for? Were's the recommened place's? Considering i've spend £400+ on an exhaust this seem's well worth it, my engine seem's healthy so will look into it. Yeah would want a front mount or larger cooler for sure, looking into breating mod's but unsure what to go for there's alot out there but not many "decent" mini forums to see comparisons

Why would you need a front mount when you have a vent in the bonnet feeding it to the cooler ontop of the engine? GRS cooler for £400 quid.
1320 in Cambridgeshire for the pulley

This is true been looking at both get a good air flow to on a front mount, but the GRS are ment to be a simple & nice fit and obviously not frabrication really needed for additional airflow. Am going to save up for abit so can get the pulley, cooler & remap done at the same time then want to get on track with her see what it's like out there
When you planning on getting all your bit's done, is it completely standard at the moment

Thought you'd need uprated FMIC tbh
