Clearly to take the piss out of the person who is probably going to lose the money. Yes, it's fucking idiocy to actually pay that for a box, but if there wasn't a chance that it would happen, then the op wouldn't have done it.

Your description clearly states "iPhone 3gs black 16gb box no accessories no longer needed." buyer expects an iphone! PayPal will rightly side with the buyer.

There is a big chance that they will side with the buyer. The buyer will expect the iPhone and the box, but no accessories. Hope that's a neg for you, unlucky

It also says IPhone in the title, just as much as it says box. People are going to assume it's a boxed IPhone. eBay will definately side with the buyer.

Depends on how it's read ie: You could read it as "iPhone 3gs black 16gb, box, no accessories, no longer needed" which suggests there is a phone or "iPhone 3gs black 16gb box, no accessories, no longer needed" which shows it's a box only. If Stan used some punctuation in the description then there wouldn't be a problem, but leaving punctuation out makes it very misleading and unclear on what the seller is actually selling.

Either way eBay usually sides with the buyer, but by all means give it ago. Worse that'll happen is that you'll be asked to refund and get neg'd.
