not catching on living uto my cars speed or lack of it
vts qiuck coz its faster than my car
gt rapid cos its faster than most stuff specially for a 1.4 it is a 1.4 or is that a reno 5 not sure

My mate has a VTS and we often go cruisin about and when were going through a town acceleratin to about 30MPH off the lights and there is fcuk all difference! when we race ...until about 30 were neck and neck after 30 he nails me...but his car weighs the same as a kite and has a bigger engine than mine so that what you'd expect.....just as a 1.1 would nail him if it was a motorbike......

The VTS is 7.7 0-60 and 21 0-100
106GTi is the same.

Stop going on about Puntos, they go alright in a straight line but get spanked by pretty much everything on bends (Apart from Robin Reliants)

It never matters anyway! it also depends how good the driver is and what shit he has in his car like ICE and passengers and how the car is running. If both cars are standard, brand new and only the driver in and even driving skills then book times are pretty accurate other than that I don't care about them book figures! I bet my car would keep up with a VTS with 3 passengers and then I can laugh at him.

btw i wud never own a saxo fench=itll fall apart at high speed panels ll fall off and itll get unstable
basicly its a gocart with roof and bigger engine and also you cant tune a saxo engine cheaply or itll explode!

i had a saxo, and sold it because it was so unreliable, and rattled. Build quality was poor compared to the corsa, and to be honest i much prefer the corsa shape when kitted up, in standard form yes the saxo looks a nice motor, and is a good all round package.
I had a VTR, went well for grp7 insurance, but compare one to a 1.4 16v sport with a few choice mods, and the corsa wins all the time....and the same with the 1.6, the red top gsi can be tuned upto 160bhp without the need of a supercharger or turbo.

both nice cars, but we all have one or the other because we prefer them, surely we can just let it rest....!? Peace! :-D lol
