Use your imagination. The sneakier ones are the best.

Working on building sites for 10+years we've done all sorts of stuff. Screwed toolboxes to the van floor, glued the lids shut with gripfill, expanding foam in boots, scratching cock and balls into hard hats, locking people in portaloos (gaffer tape is excellent for this), masking tape over the van reg plate etc. One christmas we screwed the youngest apprentice to a sheet of plywood, stood him up in the corner of the workshop and lobbed wet sponges/towels at him before we went to the pub. Takes a long time to dry in December.

Get a months worth of little white bits from a hole punch and put them in the air vents of his car or a car you know he is going to be working on, set the fan to face vents and maximum speed, hide and watch

Timing is key with stuff like this. Friday afternoon is normally a good one when everyone is in "weekend mode"

Our last apprentice we ziptied him to a scaffold tube, then lefted him up on a 4post ramp.
Funny untill he fell.

Before i started at my new place, i heard of a story about there apprentice who was a right cheeky fucker.

They locked him in an overall locker, and decided to tack it shut.

A few seconds later he was screaming and shouting and going mental. Luckily they had everything to hand to cut it open again. When they did, they discovered the weld had caught light to the pain on the inside of the door, and was filling it with smoke.

Could have killed him :/

Tools out of his toolbox
Place toolbox on a metal bench
Drill through toolbox and bench, put about 20 pop rivets through it
Fill his toolbox back up with his tools
Sweep the floor and empty the shit into his box.
Lock said box with a spare padlock.

Of course you could replace pop rivets with m6 bolts then just weld the nut in place.

What's the guy done to deserve this shit in particular?

worst work prank i heard of was the place where they had big bottles of coke in the fridge for all the work staff everyone was supposed to fill up glass or cups from the big bottles in their fridge, one bloke kept drinking from the bottle

obviously one bloke got the arse with his backwash so spiked it with anti-freeze expecting him to taste it and spit it out instantly to teach him a lesson

said victim didnt taste the anti-freeze, necked it and subsequently went blind

Honest to god, my dad was saying about the same thing happening when he was a boy - only someone kept drinking out of someone elses bottle just being an arsehole. Cue this guy drinking a bit of his own, then filling it up to the brim with piss. Comes into the houf at lunch to find that the thing has a couple of fingers out of it, stands up and goes 'Aye, ye've drank pish ya cheeky fuckin wanker' to everyone in the room since no-one knows who it is
