They advertise it for the 'wrong' car and sold it to you so it shouldnt matter.

SaG Act - http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1979/54

Are the Turbos new? not reconditioned or anything?

What about the FMIC and the airbox (although probaby not quite so important). I admit I dont know much about Vauxhall ECU`s but I would be incredibly cautious changing the aforementioned on a Turbo car and driving around (on occasion up to 4krpm as the car will be on boost!) without a base/low boost map. Do you know the history of the car? was it even running the standard map before you fitted the above, did previous owner remap hence upping boost/ignition timing.

I cannot workout how you have destroyed a new turbo if you have supposedly been driving around like a Granny. Having been a Customer of Courtenays for years during my Vauxhall days they are not in the business of suppling products that are not fit for purpose and have always provided superb customer service all IMHO.

Still dont think you have provided all the facts here.

Does a turbo need running in? (sorry for sounding like a noob)

If the engine was rebuilt then yeah i know that needs running in, which she has done and doesnt have any issues with, its just the turbo thats fucked

no they dont, he said he had a newly built engine and turbo at the same time, so was running the engine in.

Worth more than that split for parts even if it does go wrong; I just wouldn't to choose to throw too much money at it

A turbo either works or it doesnt. Reckon its probably a componant fauilure or maybe an installation error that may have caused it.

Possibly a sub standard engine rebuild as well that could have contributed, although admit that is a bit of a stab in the dark.

Chloe16v I live 20 mins from Courtenay, I could go and talk to them for you or just make them aware that you are a cock gobbling dirtbag.
