few quick phone pics of yesterdays fun!

Fault code found in vag-com, LOL



Cup holder fitted as mine was typically broken



New genuine mats, made the interior so much nicer!



Pick up blocked much?



Sump, dirty much!



CLEAN!!



Then was all bolted together and ran up, mint, jobs a goodun!!

Next was debadging the rear



Next tyrer donated his original cupra R backbox which am gonna use the Tip off so the oval fit nicer in the bumper recess, gave that a quick polish with some 800, 1200 grit wet and try and the polishing wheel with some autosol

Looks good mate, was going to say the only thing you need is the cupra oval exhaust but you've got one

Had another bit of an under bonnet session this afternoon, inlet off, painted satin black, TB painted satin black, engine covers done satin black... can you see the theme i've got going here... lol gave the oil cap a coat too, then decided to be a garish toer and give it a bit of a "different" finish that people wll more than likely hate lol






this character turned up again too...

if you were closer i'd happily do it mate, i love giving the car a good machine.

Lately its consisting of, a cay bar, 3m finesse, super resin, and a coat or poorboys black hole. usually does the trick.

right....

last night my very talented friend cracked the welder out and got the R backbox on the car, and took out the middlebox. Ended up swopping the tips as the bore of the exhaust is different size beetween the cupras and the R's, then realised the size of the 2 pipes coming out the backbox were different size too lol o a nice bit of fab work went on and its perfect.



Then today give it a little clean, de-wipered the rear and matt black vynal'd the rear badge, the proper way taking it all apart and splitting it.

Went to pick up mr LCR 225 K04 turbo before, cracked exhaust housing but will get the turbo sent off, reconned and a nice shiny housing fitted!!

Picking up a crackle black LCR cross over pipr off the turbo next week, all brackets needed, Forge uprated actuator, and a 225 BAM engine cover!
