Keep your eye out on ebay, I got my Willwood kit for £270 with everything.

You could even get the calipers on there own, and get the mounting brackets off Rally designs.

I was shocked how light they are.

more smaller pistons = greater 'control' giving a better pedal feel.

Surface area

so a single 60mm diameter piston would be equal to a 2827mmsq. Double if its 1 each side so 2 pot = 5654mmsq

8 pistons at 30mm (roughly the size in our calipers) = 5654mmsq

right im decided im getting a wilwood setup.

Now i can either get a 300mm 6 pot wilwood setup for 539, or a 280mm 4 pot setup for around 300, is it worth sticking with the larger 6 pot setup?

So cheap. I'd rather have the larger discs but with 4 pots, is that possible?

yeah 16's 324s probs wont go under

dont think its possible will prbbaly just end up sticking with the 6 pots unless theres a massive reason not to

Na they won't, they were tight on my 17's!

Surface area probably won't be much different between the 4 & 6 pots as they just have really small pistons on 6 pots. When I was looking at my car they listed an 8 & 10 pot kit but they weren't much bigger just had tiny pistons. 300mm 6 pots is my vote

Although that does show how tight that set up is under 17" wheels. And you are wanting to have something similar with 16" wheels

wheel diameter needs to be 350mm to clear, i already run 300mm brakes anyway lol
