Vinnie hasn't really received any goodies recently.... Been busy working although we have enjoyed 5k together now Last couple weekends been going for drives enjoying the weather.... He had his 5th service at Vauxhall (Used Mobile 1 New Life oil as advised by thorney) with his Cambelt + Water pump done having only cover 19,567miles He has also had 4 new tyres I Have gone for Michelin Pilot Sports

A few very dirty pictures....

After

Bought two new goodies for him

Forge Re-circ valve with yellow spring due to the map

Got straight to work.... As suspected the standard one had split....

And Forge Piston type Actuator with yellow and blue springs

First off was to check the spring fitted...

Stripped down

Blue and yellow springs

Going back together

Old vs New

Getting there

Couple pictures from a random drive with few mates...

Been along time since I have updated this thread and to be honest I fell out of love with Vinnie just before christmas after some dyno days at different places as he wasn't holding boost or making previous power.... After spending more money and some time on him setting up again he is back to where he should be... All in all he had a faulty forge actuator (which they gave a full refund for as I wasn't happy with it and full refund on the recirculation valve) So he is back using standard actuator and valve all is good....

Since then I have been enjoying him

Thought I would give him an oil change has covered 5k since vauxhall done the service..

Then time for a good bath...

Looks sweet Dale.

Im still tempted to lower my mk5 astra but just worried about the ride quality as the the eibach pro springs seem to get mixed reviews even tho you have the sportlines.
