i went year before last and went in the grandstand, but it was packed and you had to que for hours for anything,
last year we went in the silverring instead.
this year we arent going

Personally I love going to the point to pointing etc. Get just as much action from the track, can still have a drink and a flutter, but there's less expense, less queues and you can get alot closer to the race. I went with the Zetland hunt last year, and stood on the track/by the jumps etc to get some great photos
