done it if the cars worth it do it, i did it for the spec of the car absolute monster.. drive there is never as fun as drive back though

I went about 3 1/2 hours for mine and it was a complete shed

Difference is mine was free and I knew no matter what, it was coming home with me

drove to bournemouth one night to buy my m3, came up for sale that morning.
if ed can sort it i wont be driving 5 hours there.
just the 5 hours back, well 4 hours and 25 mins

The longest i have gone is 5.5 hours each way to Hull for a TVR; went up in a mini which used half the amount of fuel there and back which the TVR used just coming back
