A better idea is to just buy as many as you need for each day rather than storing them. Sounds like a better idea, but is it practical?

Cheaper to buy in bulk and what if you dont use them all? at £10 ish a Kg i would rather not just chuck them in afterwards

i saw a woman put a gerbil in her loveslit, it was on the internet, not sure what happened to the gerbil, think it dies up there and then some bloke comes over and whips it out and lobs it at the wall

My rat traps caught fuck all seem to have gone now though, must have been the poison the neighbour put down, just that blue pellet stuff. My mum's cat is decent at killing rats, dad was saying he brought him a 15 inch one (head to end of tail) home the other day.
