this is true but 9/10 on a bus are ok
where as bmw audi drivers and white van drivers are arseholes lol
You won't like me much then, my daily driver is a white Combo, usually at least once a month I drive a white Merc Sprinter Luton and if I'm on the road and I'm not driving any of the above then I'm driving a white Transit

Get used to it, they think they rule and own the road; well I ain't going to mess with one:
London's just stupid, I hate the place, although it becomes a lot more bearable when I'm in the Sprinter luton because people are scared of the bare metalwork on the back which makes lane changes much more simple. A couple of months back driving through Kensington in the Combo, I had a Merc refusing to let me move over, upto the point where we were side by side in a single lane and I only managed to get in properly once I, without realising, put my wing mirror in front of his, blocking his route. Had I been in the luton that day, he would've gave in about 2 minutes earlier as the bare metalwork got closer to his very vulnerable paintwork

Yes it is, it's in the highway code., Pathetic rule mind.
true but its just an advisory, not a hard and fast rule
'Buses, coaches and trams. Give priority to these vehicles when you can do so safely, especially when they signal to pull away from stops. Look out for people getting off a bus or tram and crossing the road.
for any bus drivers reading, that doesnt mean just indicate and pull out when a car is halfway alongside you, or to nudge you nose into traffic aggressively as seems to be de rigour in london, i say again, cunts!

I agree they are cunts for doing this, I like to drive past them with my horn going when they do it to me. But it is in the highway code which is a 'best practice' for driving.

if a bus didn't pull out on someone it would be sat at the side of the road waiting to pull out for most of its day.

Yeah, I couldn't be bothered getting into all that yesterday but if you had to pull away from the side of a road 100 times a day and you knew that it was a rare occurrence that someone would actually let you out then pulling out would become the norm. Especially if you was driving such a slow vehicle as well.
I think that's the main part of the problem, until you've drove a properly slow vehicle, you don't realise just how slow they are. As an example, a month or so back, someone posted a comment on here about how Combo 1.3 diesels are 'dangerously slow'. That statement is laughable. I currently have a Combo 1.3 as my daily and even when it went into limp mode, it was far from dangerous. In it's normal working guise it would be considered fast when compared with our Transit, loaded up to around 3.5t with about 1200kg of trailer on the back too, which is how it was driving down to PVS this year and it was just about capable of reaching 70 mph in places but up hills I was being overtaken by empty artics. When it comes to acceleration, I was probably getting to 30mph in the time it'd take a 12v Corsa to get to 60, but even saying this will have little effect on anyone. You need to drive a slow vehicle, to learn just how slow they are in the real world.

Giving way to buses is in the highway code now (that, or it's the fact that I haven't read it when I did my test!!) - they've begun to make a point of this in London..
