Out of curiosity, did you draw both sides or did you do one side and basically just mirror it so both are identical?
Also any tattooist should check it all matches up etc etc.

fucking hell theres a fair few tattoo artists in this thread.....
firstly could you get a picture not so close where you are stood up straight and the pis is from a better angle?
also can i ask where you went? since im in devon i might know. also have a few places to recommend.

In my opinion i'd go somewhere else. Its not straight, its not level, a lot of the lines are poor and the design isn't symmetrical at all.
The red lines are roughly the line of your spine and from the bottom of your shoulder blades straight across, the design should be in line with both of those axis. The circles are mistakes or when its not symmetrical. I'd honestly go somewhere else and see if they can rescue it mate before too much damage is done. Shading or added lines may be able to pull it straight again.

no one will ever notice tbh, if it was all 100% perfect i think you would lose the character of a freehand tattoo and it might look like a transfer, "too" perfect.

UPDATE: just to a trip into Plymouth, went around 10ish different tattoo studios to get advice/ opinion.
The majority wouldnt touch someone elses work.
But a Couple said its easily savable with "powerlining" and shading.
Also, the pics darker as the ink has dyed my back for a while, will soon be pastey white skin like the rest of me.

Not the best one I've seen and as others have said the lines aren't right.
The problem with going elsewhere for an opinion is that most tattoo artists slag off other people's work and are never going to tell you it's a good job. Also the minute you walk out they'll be telling all and sundry that the person that did your ink is a bodge artist and to stay away, so 'professional' opinion is pretty much always biased.
