Yeah I know about Puma making racing boots etc my mate had a pair, there are better makes out there than Puma though, maybe I would buy Puma again but if I want decent running/gym shoes I'll buy some Adidas ones, if I want cheap ones that are half decent, Asics.

My Asics are better than Adidas for running.

My Nike's with ipod thing in them seem better than the Asics though.

But IVIark and Barnshaw said they're not so you're wrong.

My uncle used to run marathons and swore by Asics and they're also used by a lot of other runners, granted they may not be the best known brand but they're certainly not crap, damn you for saying Nike are better though

Which brings me to another problem which may deserve a whole thread of its own.

yes you are wrong. the only people who buy aasics were the kids in year 7 who could not afford anything else, it was either aasics, hi-tec, nicks, or fila's, then come in the kappas when sports soccer started selling them off cheap.

Naa Ronson is talking sense, they are the brand you buy for running, you wouldn't get a pair to go down the pub right enough, they look really stupid.
