not much tbh, stripped it, my mate done some welding on a few bits of chassis, cut out bits of it and welded in more bits to fit power steering, got the new wheels on. Thats about it.

at the farm place where it/workshop is, there is a new barn being built so it should be getting moved into a nice new workshop, might start working on it again

The colour is the best Corrado colour. I think it's expensive for what it is and parts will still be rare. But if you want it and can afford it then why the hell not?

Somebody told me you like Corrados so I reckon go for it

It alarms me you'd consider this when I think of the long list of lovely cars you could have for that kind of money. Yes it's rare, yes it is well kept, but still..

Its spot on but tbh its a bit to much of the other end of the spectrum to yours, you will end up worrying about putting miles on it and it getting damaged.

IMO you should find a nice one for reasonable money, swap your decent bits on to it and just have the one car.

Excuse the massive post, here the one i was on about

Make: Volkswagen
Model: Corrado
Colour: LC3Y
Year: 1993
Engine size: 2.9
Fuel type: Petrol
Transmission: 5 speed manual
Mileage: 142,000
MOT: will come with 12 months
Tax: 5 months
Price: variables discussed at end of post

Description: Basically I bought this car at the end of last year as a donor vehicle for my mk1. Fell in love with it,decided to keep it as my daily and got a bit carried away........

new brakes all round,mk4 rear calipers,312mm TT front discs, octavia vrs callipers/carriers,new heater matrix

heater matrix fitted

brakes cleaned up and freshly painted with silver smoothrite

goodridge conversion hoses

FK coils fitted

Armageddon spec sump fabricated and fitted along with .:R32 oil pick up to suit the shallowed sump

Full car got professionally painted in original shade

selective modifications while painted :- fully rolled front and rear arches, clearanced inner front arches, rear corrado badge holes welded up,side indicators removed, rear towing eye removed, rear exhaust cut out deleted with new sections from spare corrado bumper, side trims removed, door handles colour coded, rear plinth painted satin black, front grill painted satin black, front and rear VW badges painted satin black, rear wiper removed(replaced with grommet to enable refittage for winter),front splitter reduced to 70mm

I refurbished the Autostrada's

then got custom adaptors made which I then polished and chromed

and as it sat at DC 11.5

The engines been fitted with a new cone air filter and also has a full stainless steel custom system with a hidden tailpipe fitted but thats the only modifications powerwise

£4400 with autostradas
£4100 with bentleys
£3400 rolling on discs

This is a VERY reluctant sale,im being forced into it by the powers that be and im gutted considering the time and outlay thats went into this in the last year turning it round into something thats now reliable(when you dont run out of petrol......)and easy on the eye. All it needs is leather to complete.

NO PART EXCHANGES,im selling this because I wont be able to drive it and I dont want to park it up until I get my licence back although if it doesnt sell then I will park it up

Looks to have stretched tyres so that'll make it look deceptive at angles. Look at the shot from the front, the same wheel looks too far back.

Thought it looked better on the Bentleys.
