That man has the touch of a rapist
Shocking bit of driving and even more shocking that he got away with it at the time. I've never seen anything like that on track before. As Davey said, it looks like they've literally turned up there with a view to do some unofficial banger racing. Nowadays they'd have been black flagged pretty much straight away.

Yep, as with any track these days they are very strict where driver safety is involved.

Yeah Crail sounds like a bad setup but you make a judgement, if it looks like a bad setup, don't risk it.
York was unavoidable as far as I can gather, the car was a handful and it got the better of the driver. The only way the organisers could avoid that is by not putting the event on in the first place.
Motorsport has risks, most tracks work hard now to reduce those risks as much as is practical but accidents are still going to happen, that's inevitable.

dont get the cones, i understand its setting you up to take the corner using the best line, but it forces cars into a single file, and cause people to panic when they realise they might not make it in time for the cones etc

Why would you ever think throwing the wheel around like that is a good idea? Not even some 11 year old northern council estate kid who's just jacked his first Rover 100 would drive like that.
