They just don't handle fullstop, too front heavy, mates spend a fortune on decent suspension, arb's, brakes, stich welded bat, decent tyres etc, ended up breaking and buying an evo6, even mates civic turbo is like a corsa let...wallowy, bouncing, that's on teins, arbs too, just doesn't feel nice to drive, there ok in a straight line but that's it, there are enough lads with let's, but most big power let's are used for quarter mile, or either breoken as people dnt build them right first time, don't mean to put a downer on ideas but too many people say fit a let and tbh I know enuf lads who either end up selling car, fitting a tuned xe or sat on drive in bits

So today i eventually made up my mind and went with the option of a c20let conversion instead of the xe redtop, so after bartering my mate down on price i managed to get myself his cav turbo for a bargin.mates rates so i will be stripping the engine out next week and selling the cav as bits or complete shell. All i need now is the corsa lol im looking for a red or arden blue corsa b running or not running doesnt really matter. cant wait to get started with it now just struggling to find the right car thats not a million miles away from sheffield. soon as ive got it and get started i will be definitely doing a project thread from start to finish as ive got many ideas and things to come .

sounds like i have myself a bargin then
im not gunna make out ive paid 650 for a showroom cav cos its far from that lol
the body work has really seen better days tatty in places and bonnet paint doesnt match with the rest of the the white car . my mate bought the engine and had it fully rebuilt by his mate at vauxhall last year with all intentions of leaving the engine out and refurbing the cav but funds ran low for him and ended up putting engine in it and the refurb of the shell was on hold . 11 months later the car had hardly moved out of his garage and only had roughly 400miles on the engine it ran out of tax and mot. so i seen my chance and took it lol
